Contemplation
Contemplation:
“Serious and quiet thought for a period of time” (Cambridge Dictionary).
“Thoughtful or long consideration or observation, purpose or intention” (Collins Dictionary).
Contemplation plays a key role in self-awareness. Being self-aware is necessary to
· understand what truly matters to you
· explore your purpose
· understand your behaviours
· check in on your values.
When armed with this ability, you’re able to effectively explore what works for you, resulting in a happy and healthy life. Although most of us ‘strive’ to live a happy and healthy life, we somehow lose touch of what truly matters, resulting in actions and behaviours that don’t actually serve us and support well being or happiness.
